Elementary and Middle School Teachers
Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years teaching experience, and will have worked previously in urban settings or with at-risk children and families. In addition to possessing a genuine passion for children, candidates must be highly motivated and work well in a team environment. PA certification required!
Full-Time Building Substitute
Ideal candidates will be PA certified and have worked previously in an urban setting or with at-risk children. All applicants must possess a Bachelors Degree in education and one year of classroom teaching experience.
Special Education Teacher
PA certification in Special Education required! All applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years related teaching experience, excellent instructional and classroom management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with parents. Previous experience working in an urban setting or with at-risk youth strongly preferred.
Belmont Charter School Director
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience within an urban, at-risk school, as well as some experience in a management/leadership role. BA required! Must have a flexible personality and be willing to take on several tasks. At the same time, this individual must possess strong time management and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
Middle School CARES Teacher
PA certification required, Special Edcuation Certification preferred! Experience working with at-risk children preferred.
French Teacher
French teacher for grades 6th-8th for the 2008-2009 school year. Ideal candidates will have worked previously in urban settings or with at-risk children and families and have at least 1 year of relevant French teaching experience. MUST BE PA CERTIFIED!
